Salsa Saturday With Lady Son y Articulo Veinte and DJ GIO

 

Join us for the best salsa dance party in town. With THE BEST SALSA BANDS IN TO!  Lady Son is one of the top voices on today's Canadian salsa scene, making waves with her powerful vocals, and her hot band featuring NuYorican-style arrangements and original compositions influenced by Cuban Guajiro and Son Montuno.


SALSA SATURDAYS

Join us our weekly tropical dance party with dance lesson, live band and dj spinning dance floor friendly salsa, bachata, reggaeton and top 40. $15 at the door or book a table for our $49 dinner and show package. Cover includes our famous beginner's dance lesson (no partner necessary) at 9 PM + dancing all night long!

DINNER & SHOW PACKAGE
Come early and enjoy our $49 dinner and show package. Our dinner package guarantees seating for the night and includes appetizer, main course and dessert, the 9pm beginner salsa lesson and two sets by the live salsa band. BEGINNER'S DANCE LESSON: 9PM
Take Lula's famous beginner's dance lesson learn some salsa moves and get warmed up for a night dancing, no partner necessary! Bailaboogaloo will be teaching the basics tonight.

LADY SON AND ARTICULO VEINTE: 10pm

Canadian born and raised, Yeti Ajasin (Lady Son) is the lead vocalist and director of Latin fusion band Artículo Veinte. Of mixed Italian/Nigerian/Jewish background, Yeti's diverse upbringing has contributed to her broad musical influences. Many have noted that Yeti's voice and energy are reminiscent of the late Celia Cruz. With her powerful voice and passion for the history of salsa, Lady Son honors the great salseros and soneros of the 20th century.
