Sample Dinner Menu

Lula’s weekend dinner and show special ($49 on Friday nights and $54 on Saturdays) includes our prix fixe menu with choice of appetizer, main course and dessert as well as all the entertainment for the evening. The same items are available many weeknights on an a la carte basis.

Tax, tip and beverages are additional. Diners have the option to upgrade to special items in each course for a small additional charge. And we now offer the option to replace your main course with your choice of 2 appetizers. Please note that for some special events, the dinner and show price may be higher reflecting a special ticket price. Please check the event calendar for individual event listings.

An automatic 17% gratuity will be charged to tables of six or more. We regret that we are unable to split cheques into more than 10 parts.

APPETIZERS

Sopa Estacional

A delicious soup prepared using the finest ingredients that the season has to offer. Please ask your server for details on the kitchen’s current offering.

Spinach Salad

Tender baby spinach garnished with sliced strawberries, red onion, toasted sunflower seeds, and feta cheese, dressed with a pineapple coconut vinaigrette.

Dip Trio

Three fresh, housemade dips – including guacamole, fire-roasted tomato salsa, and refried bean dip, served with a variety of fresh tortilla, plantain, and yuca chips.

Chimichurri Beef

Grilled strips of tender, seasoned flank steak, served with Argentinian chimichurri and criolla salad.

Fried Calamari

Calamari rings dredged in flour and a house blend of spices, then deep fried. Served with a Louisiana-style tartar sauce dip.

Alas de Pollo

Crispy, seasoned chicken wings, tossed in our dry Cajun rub, and served with sour cream. Like it hot? Try our housemade Caribbean hot sauce, either on the side or tossed on your wings!

Pickled Carrot Salad

A salad of frisée lettuce, pickled carrots, and sliced cucumbers, dressed with citrus vinaigrette, served atop a roasted garlic and white bean purée, drizzled with black olive tapenade, and garnished with tortilla crisps.

 

MAINS

Grilled Striploin Steak

An 8oz AAA striploin steak, grilled to your liking, and served with pan-seared fingerling potatoes, baby arugula dressed in gremolata vinaigrette, and red wine demi-glace.

Jerk Chicken Burrito

A flour tortilla stuffed with rice and refried beans, aged cheddar cheese, caramelized onions and peppers, and jerk chicken. Garnished with enchilado sauce, pico de gallo, and sour cream. Served with chili-lime coleslaw. 

Substitute Spinach Salad - $2

Cubano Lula

Our version of the classic Cuban sandwich! Tender pulled pork, dill pickles, a horseradish Dijon aioli, Swiss cheese, and chili-lime coleslaw, wrapped and pressed in a flour tortilla. Served with rice and beans.

Substitute Spinach Salad - $2

Orange Roughy Fillet

An oven-roasted orange roughy fillet served atop creamy polenta, with a warm salad of zucchini, tomato, corn, and black beans, with citrus vinaigrette and chili oil.

Grilled Pork Loin

Medallions of brined, grilled pork loin, served atop creamy scalloped potatoes and sautéed spinach, and accompanied by an apple Dijon sauce.

Caribbean Curry

A lively vegan curry, made with tofu, pineapple, potato, black beans, and a blend of island spices and coconut cream. Served with white rice and grilled flour tortilla.

DESSERTS (all made in-house) 
 

Dark Chocolate Espresso Cake

A rich, flourless chocolate cake, infused with espresso and Kahlua.  Served with Chantilly cream & fresh fruit coulis.

Torta de Tres Leches

Our take on the classic Latin dessert: a light sponge cake, bathed in a sweet rum cream, and served atop a fresh peach purée. Garnished with Chantilly cream and blueberries.

Plato de Frutas

A plate of fresh, seasonal fruits, served with house-made Mexican chamoy sauce for dipping.

Strawberry Cheesecake Mousse

A delicious strawberry cheesecake mousse, infused with Callebaut white chocolate and Tahitian vanilla, and topped with a graham cracker crumble, Chantilly cream, and mint.

 

The menu listed above is offered à la carte for dinner events occuring Sunday to Thursday.  

Appetizers range in price from $8 to $13. Main courses vary in price from $19 to $26. And our delicious house-made desserts are $8 each.
