DANCE LESSONS + LIVE BAND + DJ

If you love tropical vacations, cocktails and rhythms but can't go on vacation this weekend, then the Lula Cuban Fridays parties are the perfect place for you!

Every Friday night we'll take you and your friends on a vacation to Havana without leaving downtown Toronto! Big salsa bands, DJs, tropical dinner and drinks and the feeling that you are on an island!

THE Perfect FRIDAY

Night Out!

 

- Arrive between 7pm and 8pm to enjoy dinner and tropical drinks.

- 9pm dance lesson will get you warmed up and the party started! No previous dance experience or partner necessary!

​

- 10pm one of TOs best salsa bands will start the party!

​

- Between the live music sets the DJ will keep the party going all night with top 40 and Latin, Salsa, Bachata and Reggeaton hits. The perfect night for a birthday party or bachelorette or any special occasion!

 

Just want to dance the night away but don't need a seat? General Admission or Line By-Pass Tickets are available for each event. These general admission/dancing-only tickets do not include food or seating but do include the  9pm dance lesson!

The price for each Friday & Saturday dinner prix fixe is $64 per person plus tax and tip.

Appetizers

​

Jalapeños Toreados

Roasted whole jalapeño peppers, seasoned with lime juice and soy sauce, served with caramelized onions.

​

Ensalada Azteca

Spring mixed greens, cherry tomatoes, red onions, sliced avocado and roasted corn, tossed in a lime vinaigrette, topped with crispy corn tortilla slivers. ​

 

Shrimp Ceviche (add $4)

Fresh mango, tomatoes, red onions and cilantro, mixed with chilled shrimp in fresh lime juice topped with avocado. With a side of corn tortilla chips. ​

Guacamole

Avocado mixed with tomatoes, onions, fresh cilantro, and serrano chilies, served with our homemade corn tortilla chips.  

 

Birria Consomé

Traditional Mexican red consommé served with birria meat and topped with fresh cilantro, onion slivers, and lime.

 

Tacos

Flor Mexicana's signature soft corn tacos filled with your choice of:

Carnitas - slow-cooked, pulled pork, diced onion and fresh cilantro

Pollo - flame-grilled seasoned chicken, diced onion

Mushroom - grilled portobello, diced onion and fresh cilantro

Chicken & Rajas Poblanas
Roasted chicken topped with sliced, flame-roasted picante poblano chiles, onions, fresh corn and cream, Served with rice and roasted vegetables ​

Costillas a la Mexicana (add $9)

Traditional slow-cooked beef short-ribs in a tomato, onion, jalapeño & red wine sauce, topped with caramelized onions, served with confit Cambrai potatoes & roasted vegetables. ​

 

Pork Carnitas

An ancestral Mexican dish of tender pork shoulder, braised in chipotle peach compote, on a bed of white rice & rich black beans, with fried plantains & roasted seasonal vegetables. ​

 

Pan-Seared Atlantic Salmon

Topped with lemon cream sauce and a brussel sprouts garnish. Served on a bed of baked sweet potato medallions and grilled seasonal vegetables.

 

Portobello Relleno

Balsamic-marinated and roasted portobello mushroom, filled with sautéed spinach, sun-dried tomatoes & artichoke hearts, topped with vegan feta. Served with a cool vegetable couscous salad with a drizzle of balsamic glaze.

Tres Leches
Traditional light sponge cake soaked in sweet milk and covered with fresh strawberries. Topped with a dollop of freshly whipped cream & a sprinkle of crushed Oreo cookies.
 
Cheese Flan
A perfect fusion of cheesecake and flan, topped with a caramelized berry reduction. ​
 
Chocolate Brownie
Freshly baked chocolate brownies filled with a mixture of dark and white chocolate chunks, topped with a dollop of freshly whipped cream. ​
 
Fruit Cocktail
Market fresh fruit topped with a caramelized berry reduction, whipped cream & fresh mint.
