Over the past decade Lula has hosted groups such as Norah Jones, John Cale, Metric and Broken Social Scene. International latin and world artists Isaac Delgado, Charanga Habanera, SUN RA Arkestra Haila Mompie, Eliadas Ochoa, Jimmy Bosch, Ron Sexsmith, Feist, Ralph Irizarry, Alain Pérez, The Mahotella Queens, Seu Jorge, Claudio Rabeca and Changuito have all graced the Lula stage.
Canadian luminaries such as Hilario Duran, Amanda Martinez, Jane Bunnet, Aline Morales, Alec Cuba and many more, have performed at Lula regularly over the years and still visit us for special concerts from time to time.
Lula is the place to see the city's most exciting jazz, latin and world emerging talent while enjoying fabulous food and drinks.
"Salsa. Jazz. Brazilian. African. Whatever type of music is playing at Lula Lounge, it is designed to help you to relax and enjoy a contagious beat. If you feel you have two left feet to contend with, consider engaging in the beginner's salsa lesson, free Friday-Sunday. The Friday Jazz series is free before 8pm. The cocktails and live music will be sure to quickly shake off any weekday stress. There are Zumba classes on Saturday morning, a Sunday Cuban brunch and a weekly lineup that has included such class acts as Norah Jones. With excellent sangria available by the litre, this is where you go to smile."
